The
Canada South Festival network was created in 1999 by festival
organizers, local politicians, regional and provincial tourism
industry representatives to develop a stronger sector presence
through collaboration, careful scheduling, sound development and
effective promotion. The Canada South Festival Network is a
not-for-profit membership-based organization comprised of
festivals and events, fairs and sporting events now advocating
on behalf of the industry, able to heighten awareness on related
issues and assist members to attain their goals.
